Key Background

Dubai launched the alternate phase of enrollment for the Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator, a airman program by Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence in collaboration with Dubai Future Accelerators. The program has the thing of making Dubai a world leader in the use of artificial intelligence across public services in line with the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence.

The initiative targets startups and established AI firms globally, providing them with an equity-free opportunity where they maintain the complete intellectual property rights. The successful candidates will undergo an intense eight-week residency in Dubai between 6 October and 28 November 2025. They will be engaged in close collaboration with over 20 government entities to co-create, test, and deploy groundbreaking AI-based solutions to actual governance problems.

The accelerator addresses four strategic themes: enhancing current government service, launching new AI-based offerings, automating administrative processes through intelligent automation, and facilitating inclusive digital public services access. This aligned strategy aims to increase efficiency, customization, and accessibility of public sector service delivery.

The initial launch of the program reflected intense global participation, with 615 AI firms from 55 nations. Together, they rolled out 183 projected use-cases, 75 of which are already under testing in several government departments. The initial success shows Dubai is determined to establish a benchmark for responsive technology-driven governance.

By fostering direct collaboration between AI originators and government agencies, Dubai seeks to accelerate the relinquishment of artificial intelligence in the public sector, making services more effective, citizen- centric, and unborn-ready. This action also supports Dubai’s broader vision of situating itself as a mecca for slice- edge technological invention and smart governance.
