Nigerian Monarch Oba Arowotawaya To Headline Arab-African Global Business Summit

Background- 

Cairo prepares to host the Arab-African Global Business Summit, Nexus and Exhibitions 2026, from August 10 to 15 at the Hilton Cairo Grand Nile Hotel and the World Trade Center, with His Royal Majesty Oba Michael Odunayo Ajayi, Arowotawaya II, Elerinmo of Erinmo Ijesa land in Osun, set to attend. The Arab African Investors Association announced the event.

Known as a respected global cultural ambassador, the monarch has taken part in numerous international engagements centered on peace building and cultural integration among African states.

At the summit, he will lead the opening prayer and deliver a keynote speech, then join a panel session addressing cultural issues and peace-building efforts across the continent.

Themed “The Global Nexus: Converging Markets, Transforming the Future of Arab Africa,” the summit brings together governments, investors, CEOs, development institutions, traditional kings, innovators and business leaders to strengthen investment, trade and cultural ties between Africa and the Arab world.

Organisers said the forum will spotlight opportunities in energy, infrastructure, agriculture, manufacturing, the digital economy, mining and technology. Highlights include a cultural funfair, a royal procession, a cultural and innovation exhibition, and a grand cultural beauty pageant.

Oba Arowotawaya serves on the Governing Council of the Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution Development and Conflict Management of Nigeria and holds membership in the African Consortium for Law and Religion Studies, where he has championed cultural exchange and peaceful coexistence among African nations.
