The initiative will be delivered by the Abu Dhabi Exports Office (ADEX), part of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, along with the UAE Foreign Aid Agency. Mohamed Saif Al Suwaidi, director-general of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, said the program highlights the UAE’s belief that AI can drive fair economic growth. He added that collaboration between technology and development will help countries tackle major social and economic challenges.
Tareq Ahmed Al Ameri, chairman of the UAE Foreign Aid Agency, stated that many African countries require digital upgrades in sectors like education, healthcare and infrastructure. He said the initiative will help build digital resilience while strengthening ties between the UAE and Africa.
