Background
JSC InFinBank has been ranked “Best SME Bank Uzbekistan 2026” by the Global Banking and Finance Review. It was bestowed upon it for the constant efforts it made to provide financial services to small and medium enterprises. The award recognises the bank’s focus on entrepreneurs through its business lending, digital account services, merchant acquiring, and working-capital solutions.
Small and medium enterprises are an integral part of the process of economic development in Uzbekistan, and they enable the financial institutions of the country to participate in the process of providing them with access to capital and to making their cash flow easier, said Barnai Pal Sinha, Editor of Global Banking & Finance Review. InFinBank had expanded its SME services with the introduction of digital account opening, financing and acquiring services that help simplify financial management for SMEs, he added.
InFinBank provides various facilities to finance, such as working-capital facilities, investment loans, factoring, leasing and guarantees. The bank in August launched a new business loan that can be up to UZS 1 billion and has a 7-year term. In June, it also inked a credit-line pact with the Eurasian Development Bank for a total of $50 million, and a $5 million Islamic financing deal with SEAF in the same month.
In May, InFinBank introduced a one-stop banking-payment-accounting services solution for SMEs by signing an agreement with Smart Business. From 2025, the ability to open a business account remotely via the bank’s digital channels is also being introduced to decrease the need for branch visits.
Founded in 2007, InFinBank is a bank authorized with licence No. 75 and still invests in digital banking and international funding cooperation in Uzbekistan.
