Background

Eurazeo has bought a majority stake in Netco Group from Ardian. The move sets the stage for the European industrial services company’s next expansion phase.

Netco, which established its operations in Bordeaux in 1902, delivers maintenance services and operational support for conveyor systems used in various industrial sectors, including mining, energy production, recycling, food processing, metallurgical operations, and chemical manufacturing. The company provides essential services that enable industrial facilities to maintain operations through equipment breakdowns, which would otherwise result in extensive production interruptions.

The Perriez family, who founded Netco, will invest in the company together with Eurazeo as part of their commitment to support the business through its upcoming growth phase. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

Led by Samuel and James Perriez, the fourth generation of the founding family, Netco has expanded globally through organic growth and acquisitions. The company now operates in more than four continents through over 100 service points worldwide.

Netco commands strong positions in the markets of France and the Benelux, while continuous expansion occurs in the UK and Portugal.

Post this investment, Eurazeo and Netco’s management believe the company should further extend its operations through acquisitions and strategic growth expansion, thus expanding the company internationally.

Eurazeo said it will support Netco with its experience in international expansion and operational improvement, leveraging its presence across Europe, the US, and China.

Ardian said Netco completed 20 acquisitions during its investment period, including its first acquisition in the United States.
