AIREV, the Abu Dhabi-based creator of the OnDemand autonomous AI platform, has signed an agreement with technology distributor Redington to expand the reach of its agentic AI platform across the Gulf Cooperation Council region and across Africa.
Redington, one of the world’s largest technology distributors, reported consolidated revenues of $13.5 billion in the last financial year. Under the agreement, the company will market, resell and distribute OnDemand Enterprise through three deployment models, software-only, self-hosted and cloud-hosted, along with implementation services, custom agent development and multi-tier technical support through its channel partners.
UAE Minister for Foreign Trade and AIREV Chairman Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi said the UAE aimed to build homegrown technology platforms and deploy them across key trade partners, particularly in the Middle East and Africa. He said the agreement gave UAE-developed AI access to a distribution network that few software companies worldwide could match, helping AIREV scale sustainably.
The partnership developed through Intel’s existing collaboration with AIREV on AI software optimisation, alongside Intel’s long-standing relationship with Redington. As part of the deal, AIREV will train and certify Redington’s channel partners, with joint go-to-market programmes to support enterprise adoption.
OnDemand has been optimised to run on Intel’s latest Core Ultra processors, allowing AI agents to operate directly on client devices, an architecture suited to government bodies and regulated industries with strict data-sovereignty requirements.
AIREV founder and chief executive Muhammad Khalid said the platform was built to let enterprises run secure AI agents on their own terms, while Redington’s software solutions head Sayantan Dev said the partnership would help customers adopt AI with trusted, locally supported technology.
