Key Facts

  • DSV is a Denmark-headquartered global freight company operating across road, air, and sea.
  • Lintara Properties, backed by Arcapita, delivered the project using modular construction techniques.

Background

DSV has opened a new warehouse in Dubai, doubling down on its bet that the UAE will remain one of the world’s most important trade corridors. The facility sits inside the JAFZA South Campus, on the same plot as the company’s Dubai headquarters.

The project was built on a build-to-suit basis. Lintara Properties led the coordination while Group AMANA took on the main contractor role, using modular and off-site construction methods to bring the project in on spec.

The numbers behind the facility are hard to ignore. Internal storage reaches 17.3 metres at its highest point, and the warehouse holds roughly 75,000 pallet positions. Loading bays, docking areas, and covered external storage ring the main structure. Inside, separate zones handle pharmaceuticals, temperature-controlled stock, cold storage, hazardous materials, and value-added processing. Mezzanine floors run through sections of the building, and office space is available for client teams who want staff on-site.

DSV’s Dubai Managing Director said the company chose to push ahead with the expansion even as parts of the region face instability, pointing to the UAE’s enduring value as a gateway for international commerce. Lintara’s leadership echoed that confidence, describing the project as evidence that sophisticated logistics infrastructure can be delivered for global operators without compromise.

The design follows DSV’s standard global warehouse blueprint, shaped over the years by operational feedback from its facilities worldwide.

Sustainability was built into the plan from day one. The warehouse is expected to be LEED Silver-certified and runs on energy-efficient systems throughout, mirroring DSV’s wider environmental commitments across its global network.
